So I can hardly call Stoke-on-Trent a winter wonderland,
but I did venture out for a winter walk yesterday.
I thought it was about time I took the plunge and experienced a bit
of the winter/Christmas feel around.

I've basically been hibernating since I moved back here in September
with stacks of Uni work to do and long days in on campus.

SO! I wrapped up warm and ventured out into the cold.
I managed to do the smallest amount of Christmas shopping ever attempted
by anyone! A card for my boyfriend!

It doesn't help that none of my family will tell me what they want, so I am at
a stand still on the present buying front, which is depressing, I'm sure by this time last year I had them all wrapped and ready to go!

These are pictures of me in my winter wear, and the new nail varnish I got free in a magazine which I think works perfectly for winter. The colour isn't too harsh on my already ridiculously pale skin so it doesn't make my hands look ill in the unflattering brightness of winter sunlight (the very little of it we get)
Happy Winter! :)
